Consultation Fees

When you see a veterinary surgeon or nurse you will be charged a consultation fee.

We have a graded system for charging consultation fees.  The first consultation fee charged for a new medical condition is more expensive than follow-up appointments for the same condition.

Animals on long term treatment require check-ups every 3 months.  The consultation fee for this is cheaper than a standard charge.

Cats, Dogs and Reptiles

Initial Consultation: £28.51

2nd & Subsequent Consultation: £20.95

Repeat Prescription Consultation: £20.95

Final Check-up Consultation: £16.00

Clip Claws (with vet): £16.50; (with nurse): £8.50

Empty Anal Glands (with vet): £16.50; (with nurse): £8.50

Rabbits and Small Pets

Initial Rabbit Consultation: £20.95

2nd & Subsequent Rabbit Consultation: £10.00

Initial Small Pet Consultation: £10.00

Rabbit Clip Claws or Teeth: £8.25

Small Pet Clip Claws: £7.76

Internal Referral Consultation Fees

Eye Consultation with P. Hanlon: £64.21
