Consultation Fees

When you see a veterinary surgeon or nurse you will be charged a consultation fee.

We have a graded system for charging consultation fees.  The first consultation fee charged for a new medical condition is more expensive than follow-up appointments for the same condition.

Animals on long term treatment require check-ups every 3 months.  The consultation fee for this is cheaper than a standard charge.

Cats, Dogs and Reptiles

Initial Consultation: £29.50

2nd & Subsequent Consultation: £21.50

Repeat Prescription Consultation: £21.50

Final Check-up Consultation: £17.00

Clip Claws (with vet): £16.96; (with nurse): £9.00

Empty Anal Glands (with vet): £16.96; (with nurse): £9.00

Rabbits and Small Pets

Initial Rabbit Consultation: £21.50

2nd & Subsequent Rabbit Consultation: £10.75

Initial Small Pet Consultation: £10.25

Rabbit Clip Claws or Teeth: £8.50

Small Pet Clip Claws: £8.00

Internal Referral Consultation Fees

Eye Consultation with P. Hanlon: £65.28

Initial Dermatology Consultation with H. Smith £ 108.00

Subsequent Dermatology Consultations with H. Smith £54.00

Behaviour Consultation with S. Carter £18.00
