If you would like a home visit, please contact us as early as possible as we need to organise for a veterinary surgeon to be able to attend.
Visits are normally carried out in the mornings.
It can be expensive to have a home visit due to the call-out fee. Ill animals may need to attend our Hospital to undergo further investigations. It is also not possible to bring a full pharmacy to your house that may mean medications will still need collecting from one of our surgeries.
It is therefore preferable in many cases for owners to transport their pets to us.
Some Taxi companies in Milton Keynes will transport owners with their pets. You will need to ask them at the time of booking a taxi.
Animal Ambulance Service
In Milton Keynes there is an Animal Ambulance Service generously run by volunteers.
The Service is available for anyone to use and payment is by donation (no set fees).
It is a great help to many people who do not have their own means of transport or who have sick animals that they are worried about moving.
Milton Keynes Veterinary Group sponsors the Animal Ambulance Service.
